Miss Clara Hatfield Dies; Rites Saturday Funeral services for Miss Clara Hatfield, 77 years old. who was killed in an auto ac cident Wednesday near Colby, Kas., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Flanner and Buchanan Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Miss Hatfield was a former Indianapolis resident and sister sister of the late Frank Hatfield, founder of Hatfield Motors, 623 North Capitol Avenue. She was returning from an Indianapolis visit to her home in Duarte, Cal., at the time of her accident. She was accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Edna Hatfield Edmonson of Duarte, who was treated for injuries in a Colby hospital. Born in Perry County, Miss Hatfield lived here 74 years. She was a bookkeeper for Hatfield Motors 37 years before before retiring in 1953. She moved to Duarte in 1957. She was a member of the Pasadena (Cal.) Presbyterian Church. The sister is the only immediate immediate survivor.
