no to Dr. Donald L. Colglazier, Ex-Army Captain, Dies Dr. Donald Lee Colglazier, 47 years old, captain for three years in the Army Medical Corps during World War II, died yesterday in his home, 520 West morning. A native of Salem, Dr.

Colglazier had lived here five years. He was a member of Dr. L. A. Ensminger's staff in the Hume-Mansur building for the last two years.

DR. COLGLAZIER received his A.B. degree from Purdue University in 1930. He was a member of the Chi Chi Medical Fraternity, Delta Chi, the Indianapolis Medical Society, the Salem Masonic Lodge and Paul Coble Amevican Legion Post. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Clyde Montgomery Mortuary.

Arrangements for burial have not been made. SURVIVORS include the widow, Mrs. Phyllis Colglazier; a daughter, Miss Sarah Jane Colglazier; a son, David Lee Colglazier, all of Indianapolis; the mother, Mrs. Lulu Colglazier, Salem; a' sister, Mrs. Vaughn Atwood, Jeffersonville; two brothers, Chester Col- Mrs.

Maud R. Pirtle Funeral services Mrs. Maud R. Pirtle, 62 years old, a retired press operator, died yesterday in her home, East North Street. A native of Warren County, Kentucky, Mrs.

Pirtle had lived here 22 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Warren County. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at Moore Mortuaries Peace Chapel. Burial will be in Washington Park Cemetery, Survivors include three sons, Clarence Pirtle, James W. Whitehead and Eugene Whitehead, all of Indianapolis; two brothers, Gene Justice, Sunnyside, and Arthur Justice, Henderson, one grandchild, and one greatgrandchild.

Commodore Suddarth Commodore Suddarth, 78 years old, a retired contractor, died yesterday morning in his home, R.R. 11, Box 484. A native of Derby, Suddarth had lived here 11 years. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Millstone, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Moore Colonial Chapel.

Order now! OCTOBER 17, Arthur E. Carr Dies In Illinois Was Widely Known In Amateur Baseball Arthur E. (Cap) Carr, 78 years. old, widely-known in Indiana amateur baseball circles, died yesterday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Bates, Waucanda, Ill.

He had been ill several months with heart disease. An employe of the American Central Life Insurance Company since 1904 when he came to Indianapolis from Louisville, Carr was supervisor of the personnel division and also supervisor of the company's personnel activities at time of retirement. CARR MANAGED many baseball teams playing independent ball in Indianapolis from 1904 to 1907. He organized the Bankers' and League, and later the League. Casurantive A former vice-president of the Indianapolis Amateur Baseball Association for two years, Carr was elected president in 1924 and served as head of the local association until 1936.

Carr was also a director and vice-president of the National Amateur Baseball Federation, and an honorary member of the Indianapolis Umpires' Association. Funeral services have not been completed. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Other survivors are grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs.

Dave Martin Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Martin, 55 years old, 4829 West Morris Street, who died Wednesnight while, admitted day, Robert Hospital, will be held Sunday in London, followed by burial there. Mrs. Martin was born in Portersburg, and lived most of her life there before coming here a year ago. She was a member of the United Baptist Church in Kentucky.

Downey Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Vinson Downey, 88 vears old, a resident of Indianapolis 80 years, who died Wednesday in her home, 2444 Talbot Avenue, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Kregelo Bailey Funeral Home.
