(SpU The Rev. John J. Rapp, 64 years old, pastor of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Mt. Vernon, from 1935 to 1950, died Wednesday night at Ocala, Fla.

Father Rapp had been on sick leave since February, 1950. The body will be returned to St. Matthew's Church here Sunday afternoon. Pontifical solemn requiem high mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Monday.

Herrmann Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Young Fredrick died Wednesday in St. Vincent's Hospital and had been ill for six months. A lifelong resident of Indian apolis, he was graduated last June from St. Patrick's Catho lic School. He was a member of St.

Patrick's Church and Boy Scout Troop 40. Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Helmut Brandmaier; three sisters, Barbara, Diane and Marie Brandmaier; three brothers, David, William and Stephen Brandmaier, and his material grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

Carl Kiefer, all of Funeral services for Herbert Small. 88 years old, 1336 North Dearborn Street, who died Wednesday in Methodist Hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Shirley Brothers Central Chapel. Burial, will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Born at Ludlow, England, Mr.

Florence Miller Lem-mjnk. 73 years old, a dress-ma for 50 years, died yes terday in her home, 3853 Win-throp Avenue, after an illness of three years. Born in Boone County, she had lived in Indianapolis most of her life. She was a member of West Washington Street Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.

Frank Baldwin, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Royster Askin Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Orville W.

(JiRger) Hudson, 75 years old, 3510 East 10th Street, retired police lieutenant, died last night in his home after an llinr-ss of four years. Mr. Hudson, who had been retired from the Police Department since 1940, devoted his life to police work and was known as one of the department's most colorful officer. Born in Hancock County, he had lived -in Tndianapolis for 53 years. He first went to work as 4 patrolman in 1911 and served continuously until he retired.

Lt. Hudson was a member of Brookside Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Fraternal Order of Police. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday In Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Survivors Include the widow. Mil. Mabel Hudson; a daughter, Leonard E. Pearson, and a sister, Mrs.

Hopper 2 years old, son of a former Indianapolis attorney, who drowned Wednesday in an unguarded cesspool near Lake Bluff, 111., will be held today in Chicago. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery. Mr. Fletcher, who died Monday in Daytona Beach, was born in Monrovia and had lived in Indianapolis 60 years. He moved to Daytona Beach in 1950. He was employed as an engineer for the Baltimore Ohio Railroad Company for 46 years.

Mr. Fletcher was a mem- although he was more active in business. He was graduated from Shortridpe High School and studied to become a public accountant. He first served as auditor for the Indiana State Alcoholic Bev erage Commission, and then became Rales manager for trucks with Fadelv-Andorson Inc. In 1950, Mr.

Montani was candi date for the Republican nomi nation for Marion County state senator. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, the American Legion, the 40 8. Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Air Force Association. Survivors include three sisters, Miss Victoria Montani, Mrs.

Sam Blum and Mrs. James Campbell, all of Indianapolis, and two brothers, Guy L. Montani. Los Angeles, and Marshall D. Montani, Indianapolis.
