today in Meeks Mortuary here, with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery at Muncie. Mr. Simons, who lost both legs in a railroad accident when he was 8 years old, died Tuesday in Ball Memorial Hospital. A native of Jonesboro, he was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and formerly was co-owner of a Gas City lumber company. He joined the State Board of Accounts in 1926 at Marion and retired in 1956.

He was past president of the State Field Examiners Association, past exalted ruler of the Muncie Elks Lodge and member of the Jonesboro Knights of Pythias. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Vernice H. Simons; a son, Capt. Frank D.

Simons, a ROTC instructor at Indiana University; a brother, Vern S. Simons of Bloomington; a sister and a granddaughter. William 11. Farley Funeral services for William H. Farley, 66 years old, former machinist for Diamond Chain Company will be held Sunday in Scottsville, with burial in New Bethel Cemetery there.

Mr. Farley, a native of Allen County, Kentucky, died Wednesday in his home at 1902 North Illinois Street. He was employed at Diamond Chain 15 years and retired eight years ago. He was a member, of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include the widow, Mrs.

Ruby Farley; three daughters, Mr. Jean Taylor, Mrs. Milo Birge and Mrs. Shirley Stinson, and two sons, Orville and Lewis Farley, all of Indianapolis; three brothers, Jack Farley of Louisville and Tommy and Johnny Farley, both of Scottsville; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Taylor of Louisville, and 14 grandchildren.
