David was an attorney, an author, and actor, and above all else, a loving and devoted father. Born on October 7th, 1961. He was a graduate of Miami University, and the Ohio State University College of Law. He spent the majority of his law career with Lee, Groves, Zalas of South Bend, IN.

He was a published author with several of his stories being made into films. Upon Needa Chambers 101, of Indianapolis, passed away July 5, 2016. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Park Cemetery. Needa is survived by her loving children, Barbara Ercole, Patricia Vest and Robert (Carolyn) Chambers; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Billy Gene Cooper 84, passed away at his residence in f- xv Indianapolis on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Born July 24, 1931 in Manchester, IN to the late Roy Carlisle and Bertha (Mason) Cooper, he was a U.S. army veteran. He retired from Allison Transmission in 1988 after 37 years. He was born March 29, 1934 in Indianapolis, the son of Alexander and Rosemary (Ball) Bracken. Frank graduated from Burris High School in 1952. He majored in Liberal Arts and played Basketball at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. Frank earned his Law Degree from The University of Michigan, where he met his future wife, Judith Purdy. They were married July 25, Hi Reds fan, he was a regular at Indiana Grand Casino and liked to garden.

Survivors include his children, Barbara (Frank) Worrell, Kathy Abplanalp, Bill (Jennie) Cooper, and John (Shannon McDaniel) Cooper; nine grandchildren, Ross Worrell, Matt Abplanalp, Laura Cooper, Danny Abplanalp, Emily Rose, Jacob Cooper, Kelsie Cooper, Tyler Cooper, Kameron Cooper; three great grandchildren, with one on the way; and sister Rubee Pillow. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Janet; son Randy and siblings, Garnet, Frieda, Lloyd. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. p.m. Friday, July 8 at G.

Virginia Dobranich passed away on June 17, 2016, at home after a brief acute illness. She was born on December 3, 1925 in Joliet, 111. She is predeceased by her parents, Rudolf C. Schoenstedt and Alma (Wliheimi) Schoenstedt; her brother, Richard; and her husbands, Joseph Dobranich and Thomas Connor. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Lambert, Donna Ward, Mary Connor and Ellen Curts.

She is survived by eight grandchildren; a sister, Lois Goldsworthy, and many nieces and nephews. She lived happily with her dogs and cats for sixteen years in a Greenwood neighborhood full of supportive friends. G. H. Herrmann Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Flowers 55, Indianapolis, passed away June 13, 2016. Services: 12 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Legacy Cremation Funeral Services Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

1958. Mr. Bracken was associated with Ball Corporation as a lawyer for many years. The family moved to Washington, DC and was Legislative Counsel for the Dept. of Interior, under Richard Nixon.

He returned to Muncie and was General Counsel and head of the Glass Division of Ball Corporation. He then returned to Washington and served as Under Secretary of the Interior under George H.W. Bush. He ended his working career with the Law Firm of Bingham, Summers, Welsh and Spilman in Indianapolis. Frank served on the Ball State University Board of Trustees for thirty-five years, and the university named The Administration Building at Ball State University after Frank.

Frank also served on the Ball State University Foundation, the George and Frances Ball Foundation, The Indianapolis and Leelanau Nature Conservancy and First Merchants Bank boards. His special interest was history. He served on the Civil War National Board in Washington, DC. He loved boating and was a member of the Leland Yacht Club. Mr.

Bracken is survived by his wife, Judith Bracken, Indianapolis; four children, Ann Bracken Renwick (husband, Robin), London, England, Thomas Clayton Bracken (wife, Sheila), Muncie, Margaret Elizabeth Sowada (husband, Michael), Wayzata, MN, and Janie Bracken Brown, Boulder, CO; ten grandchildren, Alexander Renwick, Abby, Rosie, and Tessa Bracken, Margie, Jack, Janey and Molly Sowada, and John and Isabel Brown; three brothers, Tom Bracken (wife, Judy), Cambridge, MA, William Bracken (wife, Margee), Minneapolis, MN, Alexander Bracken (wife, Sally), Boulder, CO; and a sister, Elizabeth Wiese (husband, Fred), Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. "Bernie" Augenstein HrHB 70, of Greenwood, died peacefully in his sleep on July 2, 2016. He was born on I May 2, 1946, in Delaware, OH, to the late 1 w-J Robert Hoke and Irene Fern (Somerlot) 1 Augenstein. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy, and brother, Martin Augenstein. He is survived by his wife, Linda M. (Dunsmore) Augenstein, to whom he was married on July 10, 1971, in Indianapolis; son, Fr.

Eric Augenstein of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis; brothers, Kevin David Carter David (Phyllis), of Rives Junction, MI; Bob (Elaine), of Marion, OH; Lynn (Ruthie), of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Judy, of Marion, OH; sister-in-law Sharon (Hugh) Gartrell, of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Bernie graduated from River Valley High School in Marion, OH, in 1964, and Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN, in 1968 with a degree in accounting, where he was a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. He worked for Indiana Farm Bureau Co-op and CountryMark Co-op for 26 years and then as a computer software trainer for Batesville Casket Company for 10 years before retiring in 2011. A faithful member of Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, Bernie currently served on the Synod Council of the Indiana-Kentucky Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). He was active in many ways in church and community organizations, including singing in choirs and playing keyboard for worship services.

He was a devoted Ohio State fan, an enthusiastic bicyclist, and an amateur lighthouse hunter, having visited 252 throughout the United States. His life and ministry reached throughout both Lutheran and Roman Catholic Churches, and he was a strong supporter of those discerning ministerial vocations. Visitation will be held at Cross of Grace Lutheran Church (3519 S. 600 West, New Palestine, IN 46163) from pm on Friday, July 8, and beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 9. Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 9, at 11:00 am at the church.

A private committal service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis. Bernie asked that those attending the funeral should wear colorful clothing (no black!) in celebration of the joy of the resurrection promised by Jesus Christ. They were together a wonderful 35 years and were soulmates, even going as far to say that since she was nine months older, he was created for Theresa A. Ruth Virginia Habig Green Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 21, 1922 to Frank Joseph and Eva Kessler Habig, Ruth passed away in the morning hours of July 5, 2016 in Indianapolis.

Ruth graduated from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana in 1944 and worked for Habig's Feed Co. until her marriage to Wiley Arlis Green from Baton Rouge, Louisiana on March 2, 1946. She was the consummate military spouse raising her family in more than 18 different addresses, before Col. Green's retirement to Zionsville, Indiana.

There she was active in the community, old-timers' Priscilla Club, St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic parish, and the Village Garden Club. Known as an avid gardener, Ruth was still offering horticultural advice into her nineties. Then at an age when most of us are contemplating retirement, Ruth took up a new career. In 1984, she qualified for her real estate license, joining the firm's Millionaire club her first year.

Upon receiving her brokerage license a few years later, she opened her own business Green Realty, specializing in rural property in Zionsville. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a devoted mother, an independent woman and the keeper of the family. Ruth is predeceased by her husband, Wiley Arlis Green; brother, Frank Joseph Habig sisters Esther Habig, Virginia Habig Jackson, Eva Mae Habig Bollard; and grandson, Wiley Aaron Green. She is survived by her children Wiley Frank (Victoria) Green, Margaret Ellen (P. Sundararaman) Green, Kathryn (John) Rufatto, Thomas Arlis (Susan) Green and John Andrew Green; grandchildren Catherine Rufatto Sears, Adela Green Creasy, Elizabeth Rufatto Ferrand, Jennifer Anne Green, Asha Christine Sundararaman, Sarah Elizabeth Green, Karen Green Thostesen, Matthew Evan Green, Alan Frank Green, Sesh Alexander Sundararaman and Amanda Marie Green and 7 great grandchildren.

He enjoyed visiting the vacation home he and his wife remodeled in Florida. Kevin was a hardworking, devoted Husband, Dad and proud Grampa. He was also a good and loyal friend and never knew a stranger. Kevin is survived by his loving wife Valerie, his children Nicole (Nathan) Gray Wm. David Carter (Ashley Smith), parents Patsy Fuqua-Hubrecht (Maurice) Wm.
