Walter Dies at Horse Race Charles R. Walter, 73, former Indianapolis resident, died of a heart attack yesterday while attending a horse race at Churchill Downs, Louisville, Ky. Born at Cordon, Mr. Walter left Indianapolis in 1932 to become plant superintendent for Monarch Storage Battery Co. in Philadelphia.

In Indianapolis he was general inspector of the Prest-0Lite Corp. plant 19 years. He was a member of Capital City Masonic Lodge and Carrollton Avenue Evangelical and Reformed Church. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, Louisville, with graveside services at 11:30 a.m.
