City Engineer Darrell Walton, head of the Indianapolis Flood Control Board, said at a meeting of flood control officials yesterday that he was in favor of asking the Corps of Engineers to resurvey the Warfleigh and Fall Creek projects that would include new levees and channel widening. Mayor Phillip L. Bayt today refused to say whether he was in favor of asking for resumption of the program, stopped in the administration of former Mayor Alex M. Clark.
