117 In the matter of the adoption of rules and regulations pursuant to Chopter 120 of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly for the yeor of 1954. Notice is hereby given that the Director ot the Indiano Deportment of Conservation pursuant to the outhority vested In him by the Acts of 1936, Chapter 21, as last amended by Acts of 1951, Chapter 17, has proposed Discretionary Order No. VI 7, which establishes the size limit and closed seoson for the taking, catching, killing, and possessing of certain fish now protected by law, to-wit: It has been determined that It Is necessary to provide special regulations for certain waters of the State for the purpose of improving fishing; it shall be unlawful for any person to kill or possess or attempt to kill or possess any largemouth bass less than 12 Inches in totol length from the following lakes: J. C. Murphy, Willow Slough Fish ond Game Area, Newton County, ond Springs Valley, Springs Valley Fish and Game Area, Orange County.

This restriction on J. C. Murphy Loke shall be in ettect from April 15, 1965 to December 31, 1967, both dotes Inclusive; the restriction on Springs Valley Loke shall be in ettect from June 16, 1965 to December 31, 1967, both dates Inclusive. It is necessary to close the season of fishing from the waters ot Monroe Reservoir and its tributaries upon land owned by Federal government to permit the necessary propagation of Largemouth bass ond other game fishes. This restriction shall be in effect from April 15, 1965 to June 15, 1966, both dates inclusive.

It is necessary to extend the present restriction of It being unlawful to kill or possess more than 2 Northern Pike, any of which are under the length of 26 in Starve Hollow Lake, Jock-son County, to preserve the adult population to continue experimental studies on the propagation of Northern Pike. This restriction shall be In effect from April 15, 1965 to April 14, 1966, both dates inclusive. A 50-year-old woman was injured today in a car-train accident which tied up rush-hour traffic on the Northeastside for miles, A 109-car New York Central freight train slammed into a station wagon driven south by Arlene A. Lindsey, 3706 N. Wallace, at the Dearborn Street crossing about 6 a.m. Mrs.

Lindsey's car was side the car. She suffered hurled backward through a head, left arm and side in-wire fence on the Northwest juries and is in fair condition corner of the intersection. at General Hospital. Police found Mrs. Lindsev Witnesses told Patrolman Isters ond Jacob Brothers for all the kindness and understanding posals received will be opened and read aloud.
