Most of the footage is outtakes from "Saturday Night Live" as a recapitulation of all the trauma that Mr.

The rest of the movie is short takes on all the weird subjects of which you can think, including "Celebrity deformities" and "The holy church of Jack Lord," with toupees and all, using comments like "Seal off the universe and patch me through to God." The late Sid Vicious makes an appearance singing "I did it my way" and a spoof on fads features a secluded island of blacks who wear all the discarded fads of the U.S. Then there is a i Show Time Deaf Players Watch Out, By MITCH DARDEN "Mr. Mike's Mondo Video," now playing at several tieaters in town, is advertised as a television show that can't be shown on television. That's how the movie is billed, but don't wake up the children to see this movie, it's rated for restricted restricted to the few adults who like absurd comedy in its strangest form. There is a roving camera crew flying all over the world, in a mock jet with "Mondo Video" shabbily written on the side, and in a beat up van with primer paint on it cruising the streets with "Mondo Video" spray-painted on the sides. Most of the craziness seems to originate from New York City where Dan Akroyd.

Gilda Radner and Jane Curtin make cameo apearances along with a host of characters that live in New York City. The movie opens with a Mr. Bill show titled, "Get Well Soon Mr. Bill." 17 at 8 p.m. at the Children's Museum Lilly Theater, the opening program of the Indianapolis Ensemble Music Society's season. Tickets at the door are $3 for adults, $2.50 for students with proper identification. The concert will open with Haydn's Quartet in Major, Op. 20, No.

2, a fiery and grandiose work from the third set of Haydn's quartets, preceded by those in Op. 9 and Op. 17. Some listeners hear, in this particular work prophecies of things to come from Beethoven. Nest on the program will be Janacek's First Quartet, "Ispirato dalla Sonata de Kreutzer de L.N.

Tolstoy." Composed late in the composer's life, in 1923, the quartet, as the descriptive title implies, was inspired by Tolstoy's story, "Kreutzer Sonata," which had inspired a piano trio from the composer in 1908. According to Janacek, while writing the music he had in mind "an unfortunate woman, suffering, beaten, ill-treated, just as Tolstoy describes her in his 'Kreutzer The concert will close with Mendelssohn's Quartet in Major, Op. 44, No. 1, the first of three the composer wrote in 1837-38. While his five quartets have never gained the popularity of his earlier Octet in E-flat Major or even his later Piano Trio in minor, many of them, including this one in Major, are beautifully worked out and deserve at least occasional hearings.

The musicians in the quartet are violinists Koichiro Harada and Kikuei Ikeda, violist Kazuhide Isomura and cellist Sadao Harada and this is the group's lOth-anniversary season. For the occasion of its first decade, Washington's Corcoran Gallery has loaned the quartet the four Amati instruments in its colelction, two violins, a viola and cello created by the Italian Nicolo Amati between 1656 and 1677. The first violin was made for the court orchestra of Louis XIV of France and has tiny rubies and emeralds inlaid in the wood. The second was made for Cremona as were the viola and cello. The quartet, generally considered one of the finest in the world, has been recorded by DGG, Columbia, Vanguard and RCA.
