More than 200 relatives and guests from around the country gathered here to celebrate his 100th birthday, listening as Eickhoff shared his reflections on early Indianapolis and the city's changing times. Zelpha Oliger Zelpha Oliger. 92. Beech Grove, formerly of Marion, died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital. A registered nurse more than 30 years.

Miss Oliger retired from Marion VA Medical Center in 1954. She was a member of the National Association of Federal Employees and was a former member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Marion. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Hermitage, where Miss Oliger lived at the time of her death.

Gilliatt, 90, rites Wednesday Ethel P. Smith Gilliatt. 90. Indianapolis, former music instructor and choir director, died Sunday In Americana Midtown Health Care Center. Primarily a voice instructor, Mrs.

Gilliatt taught voice and directed several musical groups at the University of Indianapolis, formerly Indiana Central University, in the 1930s. She later taught private voice lessons and directed choirs in Dayton, Ohio. She directed church choirs and the men's chorus at the United Methodist Seminary, Dayton, in the 1940s and early 1950s. Her late husband, David Harvey Gil liatt. was a professor at the sem-.

inary. Upon her return to Indianapolis in the 1950s, she was minister of music at University Heights United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. She later directed a Southside women's chorus. A graduate of the University of Indianapolis, Mrs. Gilliatt was a member of Perry Heights Homemakers.
