Judge Hall died Thursday. A World War II Army veteran, he was graduated from Earlham College, Ohio State University and Ohio State's School of Law. He had been an attorney in New Castle since 1948. Judge Hall served as county prosecutor from 1953 to 1958. From 1963 to 1966 and from 1972 to 1980, he was a deputy prosecutor.

He was appointed to the county court bench in 1980. He retired earlier this year. Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Cancer Society.
